Returned to the UK

Well what can I say but, BLIMEY! I have loads of messages which I need to catch up on but thanks to those that have sent me messages and my apologies for my delayed response. There are a few changes to deviantART so I must look into that too.

Only this week have a done my first UK art exhibit and the turnout was great. I think I have started to get my name out there, purely because my stuff is unique to the sleepy retirees, village life I live in. My work is more for city dwellers, Londoners and the like. It was however disappointing to see artists charging so little for their work, I could not have broken even to compete with those prices. Nonetheless it was a great show and it was great to be showing my work instead of keeping it on my walls.

A colleague of mine mentioned that she places her artwork on here and I have to add, her stuff is brilliant. So I thought, hey lets give it and go and see what people have to say about my stuff. It takes a lot of courage to ask people to comment on your pieces of work but I am old enought to take it now!

Watch this space and I will add work as I go along. It's kinda hard painting on a part time basis and with a young family in tow but I will march on like a trooper.
