Has it been that long?

So much has happened and it has been 6 months since my last entry. There has been a lot of ups and downs and no time for painting, sadly.

I am doing a clearout of everything I own including my paintings. I came across some of my old drawings/sketches from school which I have posted today though they are no longer around, RIP.

There is nothing like a clear out to clear the mind. So, here are a few of my oldies, I need to store them somewhere and since my crusty laptop is on its way out I am not about to store it on my harddrive.

I like to paint and I try at it but not enough to make me a professional artist. Life is hectic and it never seems to stop with constant change, sometimes intentional and sometimes forced. But whatever way I look at it life is exciting and full of possibilities and I never know which way it will take me next.

A colleague of mine mentioned that she places her artwork on here and I have to add, her stuff is brilliant. So I thought, hey lets give it and go and see what people have to say about my stuff. It takes a lot of courage to ask people to comment on your pieces of work but I am old enought to take it now!

Watch this space and I will add work as I go along. It's kinda hard painting on a part time basis and with a young family in tow but I will march on like a trooper.
